14h agoBronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. recognized a front-line hero Thursday in celebration of Dominican Heritage Month.
Eliceo Rivera is the assistant director for environmental services at North Central Bronx Hospital.
Diaz says he wanted to honor him for all his hard work throughout the coronavirus pandemic, as he made sure that the hospital and employees were always prepared.
Dominican Heritage Month runs through Feb. 27 and was first celebrated here in New York state in 2016.
