A fundraiser was held Sunday in Woodbridge for IRIS, the Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services.
The New Haven based nonprofit is working to address the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and help refugees.
The event raised money for IRIS, its staff and and refugees.
Gov. Ned Lamont, Sen. Richard Blumenthal and an Afghani family all attended.
