Fundraiser held in Woodbridge for Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services
A fundraiser was held Sunday in Woodbridge for IRIS, the Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services.
The New Haven based nonprofit is working to address the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and help refugees.
The event raised money for IRIS, its staff and and refugees.
Gov. Ned Lamont, Sen. Richard Blumenthal and an Afghani family all attended.
Host Greg Stamos tell News 12 it's important to support IRIS and what he calls the next generations of Americans.
The event featured food, drinks, music and pumpkins to carve.
