Future queens of the Bronx Dominican Day parade showed off their talents Sunday night at a celebration at Casa Del Mar.
The event was all about young ladies and women who competed for their title in their respected age groups.
Every month, the ladies have prerequisites to compete in the pageant.
Attendees were treated to jewel-toned dresses, fancy suits and makeup at the event.
The competing queens will take the stage on July 14, just two weeks before the Bronx Dominican Day parade.
Leading up to the competition, candidates take weekly classes together to learn how to walk, talk, dance and much more.
The event was part of the candidates' prerequisites to compete where they showcase all the skills that they have learned in their weekly classes.
The president of the Bronx Dominican Day parade encourages everyone to come out to the parade on July 28 whether attendees are Dominican or not. Organizers say all attendees are guaranteed to have a great time.
