One New York Giants star player is looking to spread some cheer this holiday season with less than a week before Christmas Day.  

Defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux held his second annual holiday food and toy drive at Community School 55 in Claremont Village. Thibodeaux says his goal is to help pay it forward and inspire others to do the same.  

"This is what we do you know I'm here to put smiles on kids faces I'm here because they believe in us,” said Thibodeaux. “…it takes everybody so as long as we all continue to… support each other and give back, you will be in a better place." 

Tuesday’s drive was held on behalf of the JREAM Foundation, in partnership with Campbell’s Chunky Soup and Stop & Shop.
