Google is facing its fourth antitrust lawsuit but this time, it's from a group of state attorneys general. The suit alleges the company abused its power over app developers through its Android Play store. 36 states and the District of Columbia are listed as plaintiffs in this case. The suit claims that Google uses anti-competitive tactics to take 30% commission from users when they purchase subscriptions and digital content while app developers have no choice but to use Google's software for distribution.
Cryptocurrencies are having a rough 24 hours across the board starting with the world's largest. Bitcoin is down over 6% over the last 24 hours while Ethereum, the second-largest cryptocurrency, is down almost 9%. This comes as cryptocurrencies remain under pressure over environmental concerns and tighter regulations from several countries. The crypto facing the steepest drop is Dogecoin, which is down over 9% in the last 24 hours.
Newegg, an online consumer company, is seeing a major surge this week. The stock took off seeing an over 200% gain this week. The company became popular with the Reddit crowd after announcing a new venture into PC computer manufacturing and also sales on computer graphics cards.
