Gov. Andrew Cuomo is asking New Yorkers to stop vaping.
The state is now requiring a health warning sign in shops that sell vape devices, as the cases of lung illnesses believed to be related to the habit grows.
Gov. Cuomo says the state will issue subpoenas to three companies selling a vaping additive containing vitamin E.
State health officials are looking into the possibility that the additive is causing the illness.
Health officials have identified about 450 possible illness cases in 33 states.
