Gov. Kathy Hochul made a few stops Saturday in the Bronx, checking in with voters ahead of the November elections.
A big crowd turned out in Fordham as voters came out to show their support for Hochul. They hope to make her the state’s first elected female governor on Nov. 9.
Earlier in the day, Hochul stopped at small businesses in Riverdale.
Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson and Council Members Pierina Sanchez and Oswald Feliz were among Hochul's supporters.
While addressing the crowd, Hochul reinstated her stance for stricter gun control laws, contrary to her Republican opposition nominee Rep. Lee Zeldin.
Early voting in New York begins at the end of the month until Nov. 6. For more information on how to mail in ballots, follow this link or this link.
