The city’s younger citizens are giving back to the community at the Jack and Jill Brooklyn Chapter Thanksgiving Giveaway.

Their strong holiday spirit was matched by Governor Kathy Hochul as she joined in at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Bedstuy to help the community Saturday.

Children at the event shared their thoughts on helping for the holidays as neighbors lined up outside waiting to fill their carts with boxes of food to use for their Thanksgiving feast feeding about 100 families.
