A Greenwich Fire Department engine skidded on snowy roads and crashed into a pole on Thursday morning.

Officials say it happened in the backcountry section of town.

They say it happened while they were responding to a call.

There were no other vehicles involved.

The firefighters were taken to the hospital as a precaution but have since been released.
