Greenwich nonprofit helping families with infants and toddlers after flooding from Ida

Mothers for Others held a diapers distribution at the Second Congregational Church of Greenwich Saturday for families who experienced loss from the flooding from Ida.
For every child in their home, up to 3 years old, families could receive a free, one-week supply.
Diapers were distributed from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m.
The nonprofit is one of the largest diaper banks in lower Fairfield County.
In 2020, it donated more than 78,000 diapers.
It works with the Greenwich Department of Human Services and several other local organizations, including Family Centers, Person to Person and Children's Learning Center, and Kids in Crisis.
