Nearly 20 restaurants in Bed-Stuy have come together and formed the Bed-Stuy Restaurant Association and they're calling on the mayor for support.
They're demanding that the mayor modify restaurant restrictions to allow them to seat customers outside immediately.
While Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday that the city is on track to enter phase two on Monday, Mayor Bill de Blasio says it's a day-to-day discussion and that it's still unclear when the city will enter phase two.
The mayor's office tells News 12 restaurants will receive more guidance on what they can do during phase two on Thursday.
However, some business owners tell News 12 every day that they can't serve customers outside, it’s another day of not making money to pay rent and they might have to close up shop.
