After more than 10 years in the Williamsbridge neighborhood, the Gun Hill Brewing Co. will be closing.
The announcement to close the tap room at 3227 Laconia Ave. was made over the weekend on their social media pages. It blames on the drastic jump in costs since the COVID-19 pandemic for their departure from the neighborhood.
The news came as a big shock to Bronx residents who filled the comments section with disappointment over the news. The last day the tap room will be open is May 18.
After that, the brewing company says their beer will be distributed from their other locations, including one in Brooklyn.
