Here are some stories making headlines across the Hudson Valley.
Woodlands Middle and High School will begin remote learning today through Thursday. Superintendent Dr. Linda Iverson says this is due to the number of faculty and staff members who are either in quarantine because of COVID-19 or have tested positive.
Residents and business owners in the town of Greenburgh will soon be paying less in taxes. The town board unanimously approved a budget that, for the third year in a row, contains no tax increase. Supervisor Paul Feiner tells News 12 there is actually a slight cut in taxes this year.
FEMA is opening a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center in Middletown. Staff will be on hand to help residents affected by Hurricane Ida until Thursday.
