Classes resumed today at Lehman High School after crews spent Tuesday night cleaning a cooling tower that tested positive for legionella bacteria.
Health officials say the building's air conditioners were turned off Tuesday night as the tower was disinfected.
They say the tower is self-contained and that there's no risk to students or staff.
The high school is one of seven locations in Morris Park that have recently tested positive for the bacteria, despite having been cleaned as part of the health commissioner's citywide order.
Those other locations have included Calvary Hospital, Bronx State Psychiatric and three Einstein College campuses.
