We are less than three weeks away from the high school football playoffs beginning in New York City. Catholic League AAA quarterfinals are Nov. 6 while the PSAL playoffs kick off the following week.

Midwood won Saturday over Lincoln 28-6. It was Midwood's third straight victory, improving their record to 4-2.

That win moved Midwood into the top half of our 12's Top Twelve Poll for the first time this season. Midwood comes in at No. 6 this week. Erasmus Hall and Curtis remain No. 1 and No. 2, as they have throughout the year. They're set to battle Friday afternoon on Staten Island.
