Voters rejected a plan to build a $241 million high school in the city.
Late vote-by-mail votes still need to be tabulated, but the results are so lopsided that it is unlikely the vote-by-mail votes will make a difference.
If it was approved, the high school would have been built where the current JFK Stadium is. It would have been four stories and would have had a rooftop football field.
