A Bronx woman is accused of cashing a number of blank checks that didn't belong to her.
Police say 52-year-old Sharon Ellis was working as a home aide in Rockland County when she stole blank checks from her elderly patient.
Authorities say Ellis stole more than $36,000.
Ellis is facing charges of grand larceny, possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny.
