A homeowner in Prospect-Lefferts Garden is planning to rebuild his home after a destructive fire Sunday morning.
The FDNY says they responded to the blaze around 4:30 a.m. and it took less than an hour to get under control.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
The homeowner, Gary Thomas, tells News 12 he wasn’t there when the fire began and was notified by his tenants.
"Everyone is fine... We'll get it fixed up and put it back together, probably better than it was,” he said.
The fire department says no one was injured and Thomas says the tenants have relocated.
