A few dozen people helped raise money for those affected by recent hurricanes while watching a classic horror flick accompanied by live music.
The third annual Bronx Rising! Halloween event featured the silent film "Nosferatu" to live Latin jazz performed by Bronx's own Bobby Sanbria and Project X.
It was held at the Bronx Music Heritage Center, which was created by the Women's Housing and Economic Development Corporation (WHEDco).
Nosferatu is an unofficial adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, and is one of the first examples of horror on film. It dates back to the 1920s.
