Hostos Community College basketball teams are honored with a parade on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx after winning the national championships.

The men?s basketball team at Hostos Community College became the first Manhattan community college to win a national championship. The Caimans defeated Joliet Junior College of Illinois to capture the Division Three NJCAA title. The women?s team shared the spotlight after winning back to back CUNY championships.

The Hostos men?s and women?s basketball teams are the first in CUNY history to have won back to back championships in their first two seasons.
