Bronx residents received a special treat just in time for Thanksgiving thanks to Hot 97.

The radio station hosted a Thanksgiving giveaway in Morrisania Wednesday.

Stars from the Ebro in the Morning show partnered up with Save Our Streets (S.O.S.) for the event.

"We're honored that we get welcomed out here and we can give some people something they need to get through the holiday," said Ebro Darden, of Hot 97.

Over 80 book bags and 90 turkeys were given out to Bronx families.

"We help everyone in the community, especially the young kids. This is a good event to give back and show people that giving back is important,” said Marisol Rivera, of S.O.S.

Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg told News 12 his go-to Thanksgiving dish is mashed potatoes, while Darden said he like yams and potato salad.
