Bronx residents are encouraged to stay indoors to avoid the heat, but for most, a hot commute is unavoidable.
Commuters in Hunts Point said Wednesday was the worst day for travel so far this summer.
Many complained that the subway stations and buses were so hot that it was hard to think straight.
