The storm comes fears of damage and flooding for Brooklynites. Now, you may recall a storm that we had back in December. This just some of the damage that we sustained during that one. Yeah, when there's a lot of heavy rain, Brooklyn really sees a lot of flooding and here you can see trees and power lines on the ground residents there hoping they do not see that again later today. And that storm also led to down trees and power lines along 79 Street Street and 15th Avenue in Bensonhurst. Just a mess there. And who can forget that huge storm back in September, September, several Bushwick businesses along Knickerbocker Avenue. They saw their basement completely flooded. So those are some of the concerns, you know.

Knickerbocker Avenue are once again bracing for the worst just in case today, business owners even tell us that though they try to prepare, nothing seems to work. And right now they're just hoping for the best. We got to manage the best we know how when in Bay way that we gotta sleep over but to move everything, you know, so it's not just me. Oh, the a the, with this problems, I live on the first floor. So we do have a basement. I'm like worried for my roommate who sleeps down there. Um, she's had flooding in the past, but I don't really know what to expect. So the city is taking measures to ensure safety. They're checking in on known flood locations, making sure storm drains are up and running. Con Edison is also preparing their crews to restore any power outages caused by this storm and new swab will be tracking it all day for you and we'll make sure you're up to date and to do so while you're on the run as well.
