Humble heroes bring smiles to patients at NY-Presbyterian in Brooklyn

A group of FDNY firefighters, NYPD officers and local teachers dressed up as superheroes in an effort to lift spirits at NewYork-Presbyterian in Park Slope Thursday.
Volunteers dressed up as Batman, Supergirl, Captain America and other heroes to put a smile on patients' faces.
FDNY firefighter Robert Banome, who dressed up as Spider-Man, has been visiting the pediatric unit with groups of volunteers for more than 15 years.
