A pop-up food pantry put together by Catholic Charities helped feed hundreds of Bronx residents at the St. Anthony of Padua Church in Morrisania on Friday.
The group says that the idea behind the pantry is to bring support to families in the heart of their communities.
"It's not a secret for anyone that these are very difficult times," said Fredy Patino of St. Anthony's. "Today, hundreds and hundreds of families are coming to receive fruit, vegetables... food of great quality."
