Ford is teaming up with a Bronx organization to deliver meals to those in need this holiday season.
The Hispanic Federation and Ford Motor Company teamed up for the sixth year in a row for its annual Lucha Contra el Hambre campaign.
The campaign will feed thousands of less fortunate New Yorkers across the city, including in the Bronx.
According to organizers, there are at least 1.4 million New Yorkers who experience hunger-related issues.
They say November through the holiday season is when things start to get busy for them.
They say this year, bags filled with canned goods, pasta and rice are being handed out at the Bronx Food Bank.
Organizers say each bag will feed a four-person family for about three days.
