Dozens of Bronx residents gathered today at the Hunts Point Recreation Center to celebrate 2018 Summerfest.

People of all ages came together for a day of family fun with sports, health clinics, performances and prizes.

Organizers told News 12 the event helps bring the community together and inform the community of the resources around them.

They say even the high temperatures couldn’t stop the day of fun.
