6ds agoMelendez says only temporary fixes have been made to the apartment after numerous 311 complaints and calls to management.
"As soon as I walk in, I start feeling sick, my head starts hurting, my stomach bothering. I really know this is just stress," said Melendez.
News 12 also reached out to MAXX Properties for a statement but didn't hear back.
Melendez says back on Feb. 26, one of those rats latched onto her skin. "I do have a medical condition that these rodents can really hurt me. I can die from this," said Melendez.
