Police have identified a 27-year-old man who was killed Saturday night in a drive-by shooting in the Bronx.
Police say Joshua Garcia was pronounced dead after the shooting occurred around 7:40 p.m. A 34-year-old man and a 39-year-old man were also shot.
Surveillance video released by NYPD shows the moment that a black Mercedes sedan turned the corner of east 174th Street and Clay Avenue and fired gunshots at the group of men standing outside a store.
Miguel Medina is a barbershop employee who works right next to the store where it all happened. He remembered seeing people running for their lives. When he stepped outside, he saw three men lying on the ground.
Bernice Carter tells News 12 she's been living in the area for 19 years and can't imagine how Garcia's family may be feeling.
“God bless them…I hope they get justice," said Garcia.
Police say the two other men, who were shot in the legs, are expected to recover.
