Ida's floodwaters push back opening date for Dyker Heights school

After teachers and staff teamed up to clean the building, while also preparing their classrooms, students can now look forward to the doors opening for the brand new school year on Thursday morning.

Heavy rains from Ida flooded a school and daycare in Dyker Heights, which resulted in pushing back their opening for the new school year. 
After teachers and staff teamed up to clean the building, while also preparing their classrooms, students can now look forward to the doors opening for the brand new school year on Thursday morning. 
News 12’s Jericho Tran spoke with staff at the International Christian School about their road to recovery.
