The Big Apple Field Hockey Festival is one of the sports premier international events. It took place on the Astroturf at Clinton High School. The winner of the festival earns a check and the Mayors Trophy.
This year, in the men's final, a team from France took on Rye FHC, a squad based in Westchester. Rye FHC got what it wanted for its 75th anniversary by winning the championship 2-1. And in the women's final, the University of Victoria defeated Malverin USA by a score of 2-1.
