Police say an 18-year-old man has died in a shooting that happened Monday in Bed-Stuy.

Police say Jeremiah Griffiths was shot in the head just after 2:30 a.m. Monday on Myrtle Avenue.

News 12 obtained surveillance video that shows a white car drive by, stop, and then a man, now identified as Griffiths, falls to the ground.

Griffiths was taken to the hospital in critical condition but police have confirmed he died from his injuries on Wednesday.

Organizations like "Save Our Streets" were in the area on Thursday to support the community and promote anti-violence.

News 12 spoke with residents who want to remain anonymous but say they are tired of the violence.

"It's not safe for any of us. That could have been my brother, that could have been my cousin. It's really heartbreaking. I just hope they start cracking down on it more because we can keep protesting, we can keep doing interviews, but nothing is being done in the end," one resident said.

Police say no arrests have been made as of Thursday evening.
