The John F. Kennedy High School boys basketball team defeated Frederick Douglass High School and maintained its undefeated record.
The Knights are 8-0 and seemed to be out for revenge when they played Frederick Douglass, who they suffered a 61-54 loss to in January. This time, it was all Knights.
Number 10 Jeffrey Arzu was the star of the game, scoring 14 points and with 12 assists. Frederick Douglass tried to catch up with some impressive scoring, but they couldn?t compare to the Knights, who won the game 81-47.?I feel like even though it was a blowout, I still feel like we still need to go out and work and make sure we work on stuff that we need to work on so that in the future, we can be much better,? Arzu said.
