Job seekers flock to career fair in Fordham

Job seekers across the borough gathered Wednesday in Fordham hoping to land a job opening.
Residents lined up outside the Creston Avenue Church with resumes in hand. About 40 companies were at the career fair hosted by the state Department of Labor. Employers in attendance included Sprint, the Department of Corrections and Access-A-Ride.
According to the Department of Labor, the Bronx has the highest rate of unemployment in the entire state.
