The Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine was approved by the Food and Drug Administration Saturday, becoming the third vaccine able to be distributed in the country.

According to Johnson & Johnson, their vaccine is 85% effect against severe forms of the coronavirus.

The single-dose vaccine will add to the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines that have already rolled out.

Johnson & Johnson say they expect to deliver enough doses by the end of March to vaccinated more than 20 million people, and 100 million people during the first half of 2021.

Advisors to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are expected to discuss vaccine distribution, as well as determining priority groups for the vaccine.
