Just hours after a huge performance in a Knicks win Monday night at Madison Square Garden, Julius Randle headed to the Bronx to start a new program that will bring money to a borough school based on just how well he can shoot this season.
Randle kicked off his “30 for 3” program at Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School Tuesday.
He’s pledged to donate $500 for every 3-pointer he makes during the season.
“This is huge, just to be a part of this is absolutely amazing. So we can raise more money, to improve your reading, writing, math and literacy levels. How about that?” said Randle.
