Justice For All Town Hall: Have reforms gone far enough following George Floyd's murder?

More than one year after George Floyd's death, what has changed and what still needs to be done?
In June of 2020, Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order directing every police agency statewide to come up with reforms to modernize and strengthen its policies and procedures with an emphasis on addressing racial disparities in policing.
All departments on the island submitted plans.
News 12's panel of guests who are on the frontline of the reform efforts include Fred Brewington, attorney and founding member of Long Island Advocates for Police Accountability, Suffolk Legislator and retired Suffolk police detective Rob Trotta, and Emily Kaufman, a licensed clinical social worker and Long Island United to Transform Policing and Community Safety member.
Police commissioners from both Suffolk and Nassau declined News 12's invitation to take part in the town hall event.
