City Council debates path for sex education to be taught in schools

They are opening a new location on Gerald Avenue called KIPP Affirm.
The school will be led by Dominique Mejia, a KIPP alumni and former P. Diddy reality show “Making the Band” contestant.
The goal is to center on students’ identities, cultures and grounded on affirmation.
