Knife-wielding suspect stopped by NYPD officers mid-attack in exclusive video

An attacker with a large knife was stopped just in time by NYPD officers in an incident that was captured on surveillance cameras.
In the exclusive video from April 8, a man with a knife is chasing after another man. The two end up in the middle of the street on Madison Avenue in East Harlem.
As the fight continues, an NYPD van pulls up and two officers come out with guns drawn.
The suspect can be seen throwing the knife to the side and is taken into custody.
The NYPD tweeted out pictures of the two officers and the knife they recovered from the suspect.
The suspect was identified as Quandale Linton, 26. He was charged with attempted murder.
The victim, who News 12 was told is from Brooklyn, is expected to survive.
