Krispy Kreme announced Wednesday that it will open a new shop in the South Bronx March 22.
The new site will be the franchise’s second location in the Bronx and thirteenth opening in New York City since 2020. It will be located in the commercial center at 396 East 149th St.
Throughout the grand opening week, Krispy Kreme will randomly award 30 lucky guests a celebration ticket that can be redeemed for a dozen free original glazed doughnuts every month for a year.
The shop will be open seven days a week, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
South Bronx guests can purchase doughnuts via in-shop takeout and by ordering online or through the Krispy Kreme app for pickup or delivery.
