After a gloomy weekend, the sun and seasonable temperatures made a return just in time for Bronx residents to come out and party at Orchard Beach.

The last performance of the Bronx Summer Concert Series was moved from Sunday to Monday so that the fun could be enjoyed in sun and warmth.

Bronx residents say Orchard Beach is a go-to summer spot thanks to the music and atmosphere that it provides.

For those not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet, the New York City Parks Department has announced that Orchard Beach will remain open through Sept. 10.

Beautiful weather Monday brought back a summertime feel at Orchard Beach as people gathered to celebrate the unofficial end to the season.

The final performance of the Bronx Summer Concert Series was even pushed back from Sunday to Monday to take full advantage of the weather.

Residents danced along to a variety of music including hip-hop and salsa.

The park at Orchard Beach is extending its beach season through Sunday, Sept. 10.
