Delta Airlines is anticipating a big turnout at its LaGuardia terminal as travelers take to the skies to visit loved ones or get away for the holidays.
The airline expects to serve approximately 9 million travelers this weekend. With inclement weather in the forecast, Delta says its crew are prepared for whatever they may face, whether it’s in flight or on the ground.
To make your travels trouble-free, veteran flight attendant Grace Nawade says passengers on domestic flights should arrive to the airport two hours in advance to their scheduled takeoff and three hours in advance for international flights.
Delta says it will be issuing weather waivers for the weekend to allow customers to change their flights or alter their departure times without additional charges.
