The Westchester County Center in White Plains will suspend COVID-19 vaccinations and testing Friday, according to County Executive George Latimer.
The announcement came as COVID-19 cases have dropped since the January Omicron surge.
Westchester residents will still be able to get vaccinated and tested at various county locations and offices.
"We hope that this is a sign that COVID infections are starting to lessen to the greatest extent possible,” Latimer says.
He says it will take some time before the center is fully back up and running like it was before the pandemic.
Vaccines will be offered at the County Department of Health building on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. starting April 8.
