News 12 has learned that Bronx native and rapper Fat Joe is being sued by his former hype man.

The rapper, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, is being sued for $20 million after his former hype man accused him of being forced to engage in thousands of sex acts with women - some of them underage.

According to the Southern District of New York, Terrance “T.A.” Dixon filed the complaint Thursday. He also alleged that he was underpaid, denied songwriting credits and threatened.

Fat Joe’s attorney tells News 12 that Fat Joe first sued Dixon back in April for extortion, slander and more.

“The lawsuit filed by Tyrone Blackburn and Terrance Dixon is a blatant act of retaliation — a desperate attempt to deflect attention from the civil suit we filed first, which exposed their coordinated scheme to extort Mr. Cartagena through lies, threats, and manufactured allegations,” attorney Joe Tacopina wrote in a statement.
