Lawsuit: Bronx NYPD inspector accused of sexually assaulting female officer
The lawsuit claims that on New Year’s Day 2025 NYPD Inspector Jeremy Scheublin called the officer into his office at the 46th precinct. She alleges he grabbed her, threw her onto a couch, tried to kiss her and attempted to remove her gun belt.

A female NYPD officer is suing the city and her commanding officer, accusing him of sexually assaulting her inside the 46th precinct in the Bronx.
The lawsuit claims that on New Year’s Day 2025 NYPD Inspector Jeremy Scheublin called the officer into his office at the 46th precinct. She alleges he grabbed her, threw her onto a couch, tried to kiss her and attempted to remove her gun belt. The officer says she fought him off and escaped after kicking him in the groin.
The suit also claims during the incident Scheublin told her he wanted to “make biracial babies” with her. The woman also alleges that Scheublin told her, “It didn’t go well for the last person who made accusations against me.”
Court documents say the incident came after months of alleged harassment and unwanted attention.
The officer says she reported what happened but that the commander remained in charge and she later faced retaliation at work including schedule changes and a loss of overtime.
News 12 reached out to the NYPD for comment. The departments said the allegations are under internal review.
It is not clear if Scheublin is still actively working.
