Lehman College has broken ground on an expansion to its performing arts center.

Renderings show the $15.4 million addition will expand the glass box office and add new administrative office and restroom facilities.

The expansion will also modify the space to be in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act by adding wheelchair-viewing positions.

The project is expected to be completed in about 18 months.
