Water pressure returned to most customers in Baldwin, South Hempstead and Oceanside after a water main break Saturday afternoon in the Baldwin-Oceanside border, according to Liberty Water.

The utility says crews were dispatched after the water main broke at 2 p.m.

The crews isolated the leak and restored water pressure to most customers under two hours.

A portion of Parkview Place is closed at Wateredge and Fairview avenues was still closed as of Saturday night.

Liberty Water crews provided water bottles to impacted customers in Parkview Place.

Two other water main breaks occurred in Merrick and Bellmore Friday night into Saturday morning.

Liberty Water told News 12 those two water main breaks were repaired and water was fully restored to impacted customers.

Crews were still working on the water main break in Baldwin as of Saturday night. Liberty Water said any customers still without water would get it back by midnight.
