Lines at COVID-19 testing sites continue to remain long as cases rise and the city prepares to reopen schools Monday.

Throughout the week, many people waited up to four hours to be seen at CityMD on Pelham Parkway in the Bronx.

At the end of the day on Sunday, the wait was closer to two hours.

It's not only COVID-19 tests they're waiting for -- some are there for other health concerns, too.

Some suggest to help keep the line moving a little faster to have a separate line for those who were there to get tested for the virus.

Mayor Bill de Blasio announced 165 new hospitalizations today in New York City, with 2,264 new cases, and a 5.12% positivity rate for the rolling seven-day average.

He's also telling New Yorkers to continue taking precautions, wear a mask, avoid large gatherings and get tested.

On Monday, students in 3-K, pre-K, and grades K through 5 who have opted for in-person learning will return to school buildings.

Later in the week, District 75, which are schools that serve students with disabilities , will return on Wednesday.

Middle and high schools will continue to be remote for now.
