All right, let's take a look at our hyper local forecast here tonight. This is me. I just hope right here with us in studio. Hope. I mean, as we sit here, it's a great time. If you got to get out there and do get some shopping done or you know, enjoy some of the holiday activities, but you got to definitely bundle up a little bit. Yeah, you know, today was a very cold day compared to yesterday, we got spoiled with highs in the fifties. Today were back down to the mid forties across the borough. So whether you were in class and Point Fordham or City Island, we saw temperatures near 44 degrees. Now, this is where we're going tomorrow afternoon, the chilly breeze will take us throughout the day. Highs will be in a low for so a few degrees cooler, it will be in seasonally cold. Even through our Thursday lows will be in the twenties and thirties. So this is what you need to prepare for Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Feel like temperatures will be in the twenties and thirties throughout the day on Thursday. But heading into tomorrow morning still very cold start with temperatures in the mid to upper thirties. A mostly cloudy sky, the clouds will really just be sticking around for the majority of the day, not going to experience that sunshine and temperatures will be in the low forties. So again, it is going to feel cooler because of those brisk northerly winds that's going to take us throughout the day. On our Wednesday, we clear out a little bit on Wednesday night, that is going to allow temperatures to fall to near 29 degrees, feeling like the low twenties by Thursday morning. So the heavier coat your entire winter gear will be needed. Now Thursday afternoon can't rule out a few flurries possible that is associated with a Clipper system to our west. Looks like mainly north and west of our areas should see some snow while we may see a rogue flurry. So don't be surprised if you see some of those festive in terms of Friday. Finally turning things around, seeing temperatures climbing into the low fifties, even milder heading into the weekend, the pick of the week will be on Saturday. Wait until you see exclusive 10 day Sunday just start off dry. But this is what we're watching. The storm system will bring us some rain and even some gusty winds, maybe even some embedded thunderstorms when all is said and done. So that's going to be the next day that we need to watch

A working mom and I respect that. That's a lot. I love them. Yeah. What may not be so cute is the weather unless you really want to break out all those winter fashions, those nice warm wol sweaters because it's going to be cold the next few days. Then that warm up comes back over the weekend. You see that roller coaster ride again. A familiar trend for us. So temperatures are falling for tonight. It gets even colder tomorrow. Watch out as wind chills are really going to get us the next couple of mornings. So tonight you're freezing tomorrow night below freezing in the middle temperatures during the day time are going to be running below average here. No rain in sight until the weekend. Now there could be a few flurries around for tomorrow, but nothing major as this low develops offshore and quickly races away from us. But what that's going to do is unleash some winds and cold their air to the north. So dropping our temperatures locally until the weekend. Now the weekend starts off nice Friday looks good. Saturday looks good. Sunday does not pretty rainy and windy in there so be sure to stay with us over the next couple of days as we iron out some of those details tonight, you want to do everything to stay warm, layer it up, grab the heavier coats, heading out temperatures will fall even though there are a lot of clouds around in Stamford. Now those flakes may fly around briefly tomorrow, but don't count on any major snow. It may feel like it's going to snow in the next few days. Friday, temperatures turn around Saturday and Sunday back into the fifties. I mean, Sunday's temperatures may approach 60 in parts of the tri state area. So really warm stuff on Sunday, but very messy weather and then for that cold air comes back the following week and that's a look at your local forecast.

We're gonna keep it just rain coming on down. Although you may see a flurry or two for portions of Wednesday afternoon, Thursday afternoon, but that's it, a flurry or two. We do have a pretty much substantial rain chance coming our way for Sunday. As once again, like this past weekend, we deal for split weekend, Saturday looking nicer than Sunday's time frame. And so Sunday may be along the stormy side, but Wednesday and Thursday coming on up feeling colder but staying mainly dry overnight. It's a light breeze with a continued chill in the air. Here's what we can be anticipating for Sunday. We have an area, blood pressure pushing upward in towards the northeast that allows more moisture to be pulled this way and some gusty winds will start to build on in for Sunday afternoon in through Sunday evening. Once this front passes us by, by early Monday morning, we're talking about pre dawn, we'll get some colder air to come rushing on in drier air as well. So we'll shut down that rain chance that you'll be dealing with potentially if you're out and about very early in the morning. But overnight tonight, it's mostly cloudy skies, temperatures cooling down towards the mid thirties, maybe feeling in the upper twenties and a few spots whenever you do get a light breeze to come on through. The reason why it's cloudy. Hope we got a system down towards our south and west that's heading on down towards the Mid Atlantic States. So we're not seeing any of this precipitation coming on through, but we are dealing with the cloud cover coming on in overhead. So later on tonight, 845 cloudy skies, there's that Florida too in the Catskills, same thing as you go out in towards tomorrow morning. Then by tomorrow afternoon, some sunny breaks are possible, West Point, you may see a flurry of two in towards three o'clock. And then by Wednesday evening, we're clearing out those skies temperatures though, hanging out in the low twenties and unfortunately getting a little bit colder than that. So moving on in past Wednesday into Thursday, we see our high temperatures struggling to get up into the upper thirties, Friday. Much better by comparison, upper forties. Saturday's the pick of the week. 54 degrees poly cloudy skies get out and enjoy before rainy, windy conditions arrive on Sunday.

I took it this morning. They have a tree out there every year. They have a bucket with shells and stuff. You can decorate it. It's awesome. It's so cool. Now I see the shells have little mess. You can write whatever you want. Oh, I love that. So much fun. It was nice morning at the beach we had that sun you can see in the photo but clouds coming in through the afternoon and now there's a little bit of a chill in the air. So tonight temperatures go down to 30 tomorrow, we're near 40. It's going to be partly sunny to mostly cloudy. There is a tiny chance for a brief Sprinkle or flurry of storms passing off to our south and east. If you do a shower, it will be very brief and most of the day will be dry. So tonight, mostly cloudy in the morning, there's your thirties. We have a wind out of the north that keeps the colder weather around for the next two days. You can see a hint of a Sprinkle or flurry here or there, but we're clearing out tomorrow night. Same thing on Thursday morning, sunshine, temperatures in the twenties to near 30 less of a breeze. And then the afternoon is mostly cloudy with just this cold air. Uh, that will be around for the next few days. Friday will start to brighten up and warm up as well. We're in the thirties and the morning getting close to 50 in the afternoon with a great start to the weekend. Saturday is going to be awesome. Lots of sunshine, warm temperatures up to about 55 and on Sunday we're close to 60 but clouds come in late. It's breezy with south winds and after four o'clock, we're watching rain. So most of Sunday now is trending drier. The rainfall will be more towards the evening and early at night and then clearing by Monday morning. So the timing of that is a little bit better. At least you'll be able to get out for the first half of the day overnight, mostly cloudy and cold near 30 degrees with the north breeze. Tomorrow, we're near 40 again. 42 Hempstead, 41 in Medford and 39 in Bridgehampton. So you see that chilly weather through Thursday, 50 Friday, Saturday, 54. And then that rain Sunday to Monday, we're clearing out next week. Nice and seasonable with temperatures in the forties. All right. Thank you, Sam. A significant event. Yes, I think it would be prudent to say so because it's gonna feel very cold, especially when we're talking about tomorrow's temperature is very cold into the twenties. We go and we could expect a beautiful night, quiet and um you know, the planner for the next 12 hours to look like this. So we settle back down to the thirties and we are expecting, you know, the cloudy skies to stay with us. And now we are also relying on some colder air to funnel on through and really to be um causing for some concern in all the layers for tomorrow and also heading into your Thursday morning by tomorrow and heading into Thursday as well. We have a system that kind of is close to us. A clipper system that stays just north and west that could be bringing on some flurries to add on to that festive feel to tag along with that cold air. But a colder front comes into play this weekend, that will be bringing the potential for some really significant gusty winds even more so than the ones that we're going to experience across the entire state tomorrow. This is a look for tomorrow though. So Wednesday afternoon, into the evening, you could expect wind gusts upwards of 30 mile per hour range. It's going to be gusty, windy, something that's also going to add on to that wind swept a factor with those flurries that we're noticing, kind of tracking and picking up, you know, a lot of moisture and cold air funneling across. We are expecting to notice some clouds leading into the overnight as we walk you through our exclusive future cast. The th is feeling like twenties, you need to bundle up for sure and staying very mindful of how cold it could get, especially heading out to the bus stop with the little ones by tomorrow evening though, things clear out nicely and then we're tracking another flurry chance and potential for tomorrow and Thursday afternoon.
