Downstate licensing for casinos has been included in the New York State budget and Assembly member Amanda Septimo is proposing for one of those casinos to be built in Hunts Point, the Bronx.

Septimo says a casino in the Bronx could be an economic driver that would bring jobs and contribute to tourism.

Septimo says she plans on coordinating town halls with local stake holders and Bronx residents.
